How to tell if a game from Xbox GamePass is No Longer Available?

The Xbox Game Pass provides access to a rotating library of games. Some games are available for a limited time and may be removed from the service when their licensing agreement expires. If you want to check if a game from Xbox Game Pass is no longer available, you can follow these steps:

On Xbox Console (Xbox Series X/S or Xbox One):

  1. Go to Game Pass Tab: Turn on your Xbox console and navigate to the “Game Pass” tab on the Xbox dashboard.
  2. Browse “Leaving Soon” Section: In the Game Pass tab, there may be a section called “Leaving Soon” or “Games Leaving Soon.” This section lists the games that are scheduled to be removed from the service soon.
  3. Check the Game’s Status: Look for the game you are interested in and check its status. If the game is listed in the “Leaving Soon” section, it means it will be removed from Xbox Game Pass shortly.

On Xbox App (Windows 10 or Mobile Devices):

  1. Open the Xbox App: Launch the Xbox app on your Windows 10 PC, mobile device, or tablet.
  2. Navigate to Game Pass: In the Xbox app, go to the Game Pass section.
  3. Browse “Leaving Soon” Section: Similar to the Xbox console, there may be a “Leaving Soon” or “Games Leaving Soon” section in the Game Pass tab. This section lists games that are scheduled to be removed from the service soon.
