Currently the Xbox Series X does not support display output at 165Hz. The Xbox Series X is designed to output video at a maximum resolution of 4K (2160p) at 60Hz, or 1080p at up to 120Hz.
Most TVs and monitors on the market have a maximum refresh rate of 60Hz or 120Hz. While there are gaming monitors available with higher refresh rates, such as 144Hz or 165Hz, the Xbox Series X will not be able to utilize these higher refresh rates.
To get the best gaming experience with the Xbox Series X, it’s recommended to use a display with at least 60Hz refresh rate and support for 4K or 1080p resolution, depending on your preferences and the capabilities of your display.
Keep in mind that as technology advances, there may be updates or new display options available in the future. If there have been any changes or updates regarding refresh rates on the Xbox Series X after my last update, it’s best to refer to the official Xbox website or consult the latest documentation from Microsoft.
