Season 3 – Redacted Tier 2 Factions: Reconnaissance By Fire

The Reconnaissance by Fire mission in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 DMZ is a tier two faction mission for the Redacted faction. It requires players to kill a total of 21 enemies with the Kastov 762 assault rifle, using three different scopes: DF105 Reflex Sight, VLK 4.0 Optic, and DrexSom Prime-90 Thermal Optic.

Objectives

  • Kill 7 enemies with the Kastov 762 with the DF105 Reflex Sight equipped.
  • Kill 7 enemies with the Kastov 762 with the VLK 4.0 Optic equipped.
  • Kill 7 enemies with the Kastov 762 with the DrexSom Prime-90 Thermal Optic equipped.

  • 10,000 XP
  • Unlocks Tier 3 Redacted Faction Missions

Tips

  • The Kastov 762 is a powerful assault rifle, but it is not very accurate at long range. Use the DF105 Reflex Sight for close-range engagements and the VLK 4.0 Optic or DrexSom Prime-90 Thermal Optic for long-range engagements.
  • The enemies in this mission are heavily armed and will quickly overwhelm you if you’re not careful. Use stealth to your advantage and take them down one at a time.
  • If you’re playing with a team, have one person stay back and provide cover while the others clear the area.

Strategy

The best strategy for completing the Reconnaissance by Fire mission is to use stealth to your advantage. Start by finding a group of enemies and taking them down one at a time. Once you’ve cleared the area, you can move on to the next group of enemies.
